Baby Jogger was first created in 1984 by Phil Baechler, a young father, who wanted the opportunity to spend time with his then-infant son, without forsaking his favourite pastime – jogging.

But the standard strollers of the day were not made to endure the stress of high impact exercise or multi-terrain surfaces. So, Phil decided to design a specialised, fit-for-purpose, running stroller himself – and from there, Baby Jogger was born.

Over the years, the company expanded its range of strollers and accessories, and developed the signature one-hand fold. Today, Baby Jogger is no longer just a running stroller brand. They offer a complete range of strollers – from everyday city use, adventures off the beaten track, travelling, running, and more.
